Day Trip to Liberty Science Center

Are you looking for a fun way to spend the day in New Jersey? Maybe your kid’s school group or athletic team wants to plan an outing? Well, you’re in luck. One NJ attraction that our Value Van & Car Rental staff recommends is the Liberty Science Center. Located in Jersey City, the Liberty Science Center is just a short 25-minute drive from our Union City rental location. Your group can easily pile into a 15-passenger van rental and be on your way to a day filled with learning and excitement. Here’s a bit more about what the Liberty Science Center has to offer.

Attractions & Exhibits

The Liberty Science Center (LSC) has a number of exhibits year round. Many of the current exhibits that visitors can enjoy include Communication, Energy Quest, Nikola Tesla Lighting Show, and more. They also welcome traveling exhibits that feature fun and exciting opportunities for visitors to explore a wide range of topics. From Curious George to biology, they have it all.

A few other attractions that bring in guests for a day of fun and learning include:

• Special events (including LSC After Dark once every month)
• Field trips
• And more.

Getting There

The Liberty Science Center makes an easy day trip for anyone in the greater Newark or Union City areas. Plus, your entire group can easily travel together in one of our passenger van rentals. You can choose from either a 12- or 15-passenger van model, or you may even opt for a conversion van if you want a little additional comfort and onboard entertainment.
